Car is a '69 MGB being built to clone a V8 Sebring MG.
The car is being built specifically for the One Lap of America and will also be entered into some SCCA events and Club Racing.

Projected finished weight ~ 2100lbs
Engine - All aluminum - Rover 3.9L (238cid) - originally a Buick design - stroked to 292cid
Heads - custom valves & seats (Manley) full race port/polish
Dynoed power at flywheel - 387hp 310tq at 5700 rpm (pre N2o)
Trans - Borg Warner T-5 with custom adapter and light aluminum flywheel.
Rear end - 1968 E-Type Jaguar - 3:55 positrac differential.
Wheels/tires - 245/45/16 rear tires, not yet sure about the fronts.

I am in the process of installing the Jaguar independent rear suspension.
The original wheel arches were trimmed to clear the 245/45/16 tires mounted on 16x8 wheels.
Current backspace is 4.5" but it may be changed later.

The outer fender and inner wheel well were trimmed a bit to clear the tires!
Rear fiberglass fenders widen the wheel wells abour 4" per side.
Fiberglass fender info.- British Leyland molds made off of the original aluminum units (only 5 were made)
Interior floorpan will be removable to access brakes and resr suspension.

The transmission tunnel will have to be widened on the passenger sice to accomodate the offset pinion yoke.

The rollbar will tie in the front and rear subframe along with the IRS mounting points.

The trunk floorpan is being fabricated to clear the IRS and to accept a custom 20+ gallon fuel cell.
